With freshly prepped dirt, deep ruts, and race-day track conditions, riders spent the day testing, training, and pushing their limits at one of the most legendary motocross facilities in America. 7-Year-Old Jace Anderson WINS BIG at Swapmoto Series + Perris Raceway!
We took a field trip out to the Valley Relics Museum with Scott Cooney and the WTP Motorsports crew—and this place is something special. The Valley Relics Museum is a non-profit pop culture museum dedicated to preserving the history of the San Fernando Valley. Located inside two hangars at the Van Nuys Airport, it houses over 20,000 rotating artifacts that tell the story of Southern California’s past through neon signs, classic cars, BMX bikes, and iconic film memorabilia. During our visit, Scott Cooney donated an antique bicycle and motorcycle—adding a piece of motocross and racing history to a collection that already celebrates SoCal culture at its finest. Inside you’ll find: • Legendary neon signs from spots like Bob’s Big Boy & Pup ‘N Taco • Vintage BMX bikes and classic motorcycles • Memorabilia from films like The Bad News Bears • Classic cars including Nudie Cohn’s famous builds • A fully playable retro arcade • And a constantly rotating collection that keeps things fresh every visit This isn’t just a museum—it’s a time capsule of Southern California culture. Big respect to founder Tommy Gelinas for preserving this history and giving the community a place to experience it. 👉 If you’re anywhere near Los Angeles, this is a must-see.
